It may sound a bit technical, but we provide clear and detailed guides (text and video) to walk you through each step. It’s up to you to follow these instructions: if you’re comfortable with straightforward tutorials, you’ll manage without any problem!

No port needs to be opened, because there is no incoming communication into your network. No network configuration is required on your internet box/router (no port opening or "port forwarding").

This is a deliberate design choice of FTPcam.cloud to avoid creating any inbound connections at customers’ premises.

Each customer receives an FTP account to configure on their cameras so that they send images and videos to their personal account. Each customer has completely separate and encrypted storage.

No, but the storage space and retention time are shared across all cameras.

No. In this case, the customer shares notifications with a trusted third party. Password security is the customer’s responsibility.

We use the Google data center in Saint-Ghislain in Belgium. It’s renowned for its performance and high level of security. It is also strategically located for European coverage.

No hidden costs concerning the FTPcam.cloud service and our payment provider Stripe. The subscription is fixed as long as you don’t change it. You can check it on the pricing page .

FTPcam.cloud has no control or responsibility for costs related to the use of your personal resources (telephony, internet, etc.).

By providing an FTP service, we take the risk that it could be used for purposes other than the intended video surveillance use. We must therefore identify our customers as soon as an FTP account is provided to them, in order to take the necessary measures in the event of non-compliant use.

Storage: when adding a new file exceeds the storage quota limit, the oldest files are deleted to comply with the quota.

Retention: Files are automatically deleted according to the selected retention duration, if they have not already been deleted due to the storage limit.

Your FTP account will be immediately suspended for verification. We implement algorithms to detect fraud. If the usage does not comply with the intended purpose, the contract is terminated.
